A most unusual and wonderful pair of French provincial candlesticks with the yet unidentified maker AIG, 1st Omer, Jurisdiction of Lille, one mark for 1764, and one for 1770.  The maker is not in Helft, but the town marks are very similar to 483 and 486.  Each candlestick is marked underneath and on the sockets.  They are 9 inches in height and weigh 31 ounces for the pair.

A wonderful and highly unusual pair of Sterling Continental Knights on horseback in full regalia with sword, mace and full body armor.  These outstanding pieces stand 16 inches tall and weigh a total of 130 ounces.  The horses are adorned with red stones and the face shields open to reveal the carved face of a warrior in ivory.  Probably circa 1920.

A French "Art-Deco" small four piece tea set by Henri Laparra, circa 1925.  The hot milk pot is 4 7/8 inches high and the set weighs 23 ounces, inclluding the lightly stained wood handles.  Nice style and very good quality.

A big and flashy claret jug with grape-vine mounts. It is 12 7/8 high, the body of good quality cut glass and the mounts stamped 13 or 750 fine. Probably Austrian, made before 1885, when that standard system was generally replaced by decimal fineness marks. The handle has one of those mechanisms which opens the lid by squeezing the two parts together. Very impressive, and good condition except for a little staining at the bottom of the glass.

A wonderful Continental claret jug with sterling mounts, unmarked, except for London import marks for James Dixon, London, 1900. This claret jug is highly decorated incorporating dolphins, flowers, shells and leafage. It stands 13 inches high and the condition is superb.
