Colonial & Federal Holloware (1650-1815)

A very good American octagonal salver by Hugh Wishart, New York, circa 1800.  This salver is 10 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches.  It is lightly engraved with period initials.  It weighs 22 ounces.  A very rare form in American silver.

A good American cann by Samuel Minot, Boston, circa 1760.  This cann stands 5 1/2 inches tall and weighs 11 ounces.  The body is not engraved, but the handle is engraved L. W.  Excellent condition.
