An absolutely superb pair of Queen Anne Early English spoons with well executed rat-tail bowls by Issac Davenport, London, 1713.  These spoons are 71/2 inches long.  The marks have various degrees of rubbing, but all are easily readable.  They are engraved with an exquisite set of widow's armorials in a lozenge.  The engraving of the armorials is superbly executed and is not at all rubbed. A single of the same set is available at $1,750.00.

An early English provincial apostle spoon of St Matthew, Exeter, no makers mark, circa 1670. This spoon is eight inches long. The figure of St Matthew is not well defined, but is gilded. Marked in bowl and on stem X, a crown above. The back of the bowl is lightly prick-dot engraved KS over MK, 1676. The top of the spoon is engraved with a rose nimbus.

An early trifid spoon by Stephen Coleman, London, 1690. Good condition except rubbing to the rat tail. Engraved on reverse IH over MH. Bowl in good condition. Good marks except for a rubbed date letter.

An early trifid spoon by Lawrence Coles, London, 1697. Good condition except for some wear on the rattail. Prick dot engaved "MT" on reverse. Later engraving "WKB" on front. Marks are somewhat rubbed, but readable.

An early seal top spoon, probably Richmond or Yorkshire, circa 1630. This spoon is 6 1/2 inches long and is prick dot engraved on the seal 1630, I R. The only mark is the makers mark in the bowl. Some wear to bowl tip.

An early English provincial seal top spoon, circa 1659. The seal is prick dot engraved "A.H., 1659. Some wrinkling in the bowl. There is a A noticeable loss of part of the seal top.

An early English trifid spoon by John Smith, London, circa 1674. The maker s mark is clear, the leopard s head is also good, but the lion passant is rubbed. This spoon is prick dot engraved"AP (over) AH, 1674. There is no date letter mark. It has a pronounced rat tail bowl. Good condition.

A good early trifid spoon, makers mark "RK", London, circa1685. This spoon is 7 3/4 inches long, and has a pronounced rattail bowl. Engraved IHK on the reverse. Good condition, slight bowl wear at tip.
